To slow the wear and tear process of road surface markings during winter, ‘’warm colors’’ will be employed says traffic deputy at the Tehran Municipality (TM). Seyyed Jaffar Tashakkori quoted by ISNA said “bright colors are more durable and less slippery,” which is important in accident prevention and promoting traffic rules. He added that the irregularity and fraying of lane markings was the cause for citizens’ complaints and has now been addressed through a special committee.
