A deputy at Tehran Taxi Association announced that 16,000 school drivers will be trained before the onset of the new school year. Hossein Ashtari told ISNA that educating the drivers is one of the duties of the association and drivers will be trained in areas such as ‘traffic psychology and ethical behavior.’ Ashtari added that so far 2,000 drivers have been trained and license for school drivers will be issued only if they qualify for the job.
