Foreign Students in Medical Universities

Nearly 2,000 foreign students are studying in universities of medical sciences across Iran, said educational deputy at the Health Ministry. “Over the past couple of decades, the number of students in all universities of medical sciences has quadrupled,” said Baqer Larijani at the Second National Conference on Higher Education held Saturday in Tehran, Borna News Agency reported. Some 52,000 international students are currently studying in the country at the university level where a large number of programs are taught in the English language.
