Haraz Road that connects Tehran to the northern holiday resorts will be closed for traffic for specified hours on May 6-9, said Colonel Ali Reza Qadami, traffic police chief of Mazandaran Province, on Friday. “The road will be closed from 10 am to 5 pm from Saturday to Tuesday,” for maintenance and repair work, ISNA quoted him as saying. The road is the shortest route from Tehran to the northern Caspian Sea provinces (180 km). In recent years, some parts of the road have been widened and traffic safety improved.
