Rainfall will lash several provinces on Wednesday and Thursday including West Azarbaijan, East Azarbaijan, Qazvin, Ardebil, Kurdestan, Zanjan, Alborz, Tehran and Semnan, said Morteza Zarabi, an expert at the Iranian Meteorological Organization on Tuesday. “People as well as organizations in these regions should be prepared for the risk of floods,” Salamat News quoted him as saying. He urged people to cancel or put off their trips for a couple of days as the precipitation will continue across most of the provinces in the following days.
