Currently 6,500 health facility projects are underway in the country half of which will be completed by August, said Health Minister Hassan Qazizadeh Hashem on Saturday, on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of a 148-bed hospital in Ferdows County, South Khorasan Province. The project started in 2008 and the hospital has been built on 12,412 sq meters, IRNA reported. A budget of $26.3 million (1,000 billion rials) was allocated for construction of the 6-storey hospital with 148 beds.
