Fizzy Drinks Consumption

Carbonated or fizzy drinks are one of the most-consumed beverages in the country.  A recent survey conducted by the Statistical Center of Iran (SCI) indicated that 50.8% of Iranians above the age of 18 consumed fizzy drinks in the week before the survey, of whom 19% reported they had consumed one glass and 4% said they consumed seven glasses during the 7-day period.  The study also showed that 84% of people had consumed milk during the same week, among whom 12% drank only one glass and only 15% had seven glasses of milk or more.
