Int’l Congress on Regenerative Medicine

The 2nd International conference on regenerative medicine will be held July 12-14 at Iran International Conference Center in Tehran. So far, 15 international scientists and 25 expatriate Iranian scientists have been invited to attend the conference, said Amir-Ali Hamidiyeh, secretary of the Headquarters for Development of Stem Cell Science and Technology, IRNA reported. The main topics that will be discussed at the meet include hematopoietic stem cells, stem cell therapy safety, law and ethics, tissue engineering, stem cell banks and gene therapy, he said. Three knowledge-based companies working in the field of treatment have produced seven stem-cell therapy products that will soon enter the market.
