Iranian researchers have produced a type of nanofilter from nanomaterial that has an absorption capacity of 99% of various air pollutants and chemical gases such as Co and Co2. “The nano filter can be used in cabin air filters in vehicles, household air conditioners, respiratory masks, as well as cement, steel and petrochemical industries,” said Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Shirmohammadi, CEO of a knowledge-based company at Tehran University Science and Technology Park. “The masks have been produced by using nano material instead of nano fiber which has increased their efficiency,” for people with breathing problems, he said, Mehr News Agency reported.
