Over 3,600 students are currently studying in Persian language courses in universities abroad.

“Around 3,636 students are enrolled in courses on Persian language and literature,” said deputy science minister in international affairs Hossein Salaramoli, at a press conference on international collaboration in science and technology on Sunday, ISNA reported.

The Science Ministry has prioritized expanding international cooperation with foreign universities.

The Iran Cultural Center in the Pakistani city of Rawalpindi recently concluded a Persian language translation training course aimed at facilitating bilateral academic cooperation between the two nations. It was attended by translators and teachers of Persian language from Sargodha University, International Islamic University Islamabad, NUML University (National University of Modern Languages), FG College for Women Islamabad and Asghar Mall College Rawalpindi.
