An advisor to the minister of youth and sports said creation of NGOs is necessary for the participation of youth in the socio-political process. Mohammad Reza Rostami said ‘’the participation of youth is necessary for the upcoming parliamentary elections and it must be ensured that the youth are not exploited in the political and social process, but rather truly valued and appreciated.’’ Rostami said this would not be possible without the active role of youth NGOs and called for government support to youth organizations, ISNA reported.
