    TVU Plans Joint Courses in Germany

    The Technical and Vocational University (TVU) of Iran is planning to launch joint short-term technician training courses at the undergraduate level with several academic centers in Germany. “We are currently negotiating with European countries including France, as well as Canada, to hold such courses,” said head of TVU Masoud Shafiei. TVU is a higher education institution certified by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and runs all technical/vocational colleges across the country. Its main objective is training technicians in engineering majors. The university has more than 176 schools and colleges and over 180,000 students across the country. It is one of the largest universities in Iran.
