Minimally invasive procedures are the safest and fastest methods in obstetrics and gynecology today and have advanced radically over the past decade, said Abdolrasoul Akbarian, head of the 13th International Conference on Obstetrics and Gynecology. “The method increases the chances of mother and child survival after a critical condition, and can be used during the fetal development period,” he said at the event’s press conference, Mehr News Agency reported. The congress coincides with the 2nd International Congress on Minimally Invasive Gynecology and will be held January 19-22 in Tehran. Speakers from European, American, and Asian countries are expected to attend.
