Pizza Party at Mahak

On the occasion of World Volunteers Day (December 5), a ceremony was held at the Mahak children’s cancer hospital on Saturday where Giuseppe Peluso, a well-known Italian chef cooked nutritious pizzas for the child patients. National volunteers served the children with a big dose of humor and laughter programs. According to figures released by Mahak, the number of hours volunteered at the charity increased to 145,000 in 2014 from 116,000 in 2013, IRNA reported. Mahak is a non-profit, non-political, and nongovernmental charity organization and depends exclusively on public support. Offering comprehensive services to children with cancer as a charitable endeavor, providing the most advanced and effective treatment services and undertaking scientific research to contribute to identifying the causes of childhood cancer, are the charity’s mission.
