Under a memorandum of understanding signed between Yazd University and the University of Cologne, the two sides will bolster mutual cooperation in a number of areas.
Students and teachers exchange programs, joint research projects, and holding joint courses are among the main provisions of the MoU, Borna News Agency reported.
The University of Cologne is one of the largest universities in Germany with more than 48,000 students.
Prior to this, Yazd University had signed a similar MoU to collaborate with the German Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT).
