The plan to develop green spaces on highways will be implemented along with the construction of the autobahns, according to Ali Mohammad Mokhtari, managing director of Tehran’s Parks and Green Spaces.
He pointed to the Hakim Highway extension and said “creating green spaces along the highway is on the organization’s agenda.” Trees suitable for the climate will be planted, he added, reported MNA.
