Int’l Confab on Cancer in January

The First International Congress on Cancer Prevention and Early Detection will be held January 28-30 in Tehran. With the message ‘Integration and Convergence of Research and Action,’ the congress aims to critically review national policies and actions in prevention and early detection of cancer and present the trend of preventive measures. Iran’s scientific achievements in cancer prevention will be presented, and important international scientific recommendations will be reviewed, ILNA reported. Organized by the National Cancer Research Network of Iran in cooperation with the World Health Organization, the International Agency for Research on Cancer, the Program of Action for Cancer Therapy, and the Union for International Cancer Control, the congress will host  speakers from Sweden, the Netherlands, Norway, the US, and Canada.
