CACCI Award for Fatemeh Moqimi

Iranian entrepreneur Fatemeh Moqimi was announced winner of the 1st Asia-Pacific Women Entrepreneur Award by the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI). The award, as part of the activities to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of CACCI in 2016, is aimed at recognizing excellent women entrepreneurs in the Asia-Pacific rim who not only are successful in their business but also advocate corporate social responsibility for the good of their country. Born in 1958 in Tehran and graduated in civil engineering in England, Moqimi is the managing director of Sadid Bar International Transport Company, one of the leading transportation companies in Iran. In 2007, the Transportation Ministry selected her as a Pioneer for Transportation. She is also a board member at the Tehran Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented during the 30th CACCI Conference held on November 24-25 in Taipei, Taiwan, tccim.ir reported.
