MoU With University of Indonesia

In a meeting between Chancellor of University of Tehran (UT) Mahmoud Nili-Ahmadabadi and Rector of University of Indonesia Muhammad Anis, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding to promote scientific cooperation.

Ahmadabadi called for expanding cooperation in all academic courses, technical and engineering in particular, IRNA reported.

Anis, for his part, voiced the university’s interest in further collaboration with UT, especially in nanotechnology, and suggested students and instructors exchange programs.

“The exchange will help familiarize academia from both sides with each other’s scientific capabilities,” he said.

The Indonesian university is in Depok, Jakarta. It is the oldest tertiary-level state educational institution and ranks 1st in Indonesia, 79th in Asia and 358th in the world in the 2016 QS World Universities Ranking.
