University of Kurdestan has concluded nine memoranda of understanding with foreign universities so far this year (began March 20), according to the university chancellor. “Agreements have been signed with European, Japanese and Iraqi Kurdistan universities,” said Fardin Akhlaqian at the meeting of the university’s presidential board with Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Farhadi in Sanandaj, the capital of Kudestan Province, on Saturday. The MoUs are in areas of students and instructors exchange programs which play a crucial role in development of bilateral academic ties, IRNA reported. Currently, 30 foreign students are studying at the University and 50 others have applied.
