The rate of rural to urban migration has seen a decreasing trend over the past four decades, said a senior official at the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development. “The rate of urban to rural migration has been reported as 15% compared with rural to urban migration which stands at 13% currently,” said Mohammad Saeed Izadi. He also noted that urban to urban migration has increased over the recent years, Iranian Agriculture News Agency ‘IANA’ reported.
