At least 20 Russian university delegations are scheduled to travel to Tehran this week to attend the 2nd meet of Iran-Russia University Deans to be held in Tehran on October 20. “The visit of the Russian academia is aimed at fostering international scientific exchanges between the two countries,” said Seyed Ahmadreza Khezri, advisor to the chancellor of Tehran University, IRNA reported. “The gathering will provide an opportunity to become acquainted with the academic capabilities of both sides.” Around 20 Russian and 13 Iranian university deans are scheduled to attend the event.
