Int’l Confab on mHealth in Shiraz

The Second International Congress on Mobile Health (mHealth) will be held in Shiraz, Fars Province on February 22-23, 2017 by the Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. Mobile Health or mHealth, as a sub-segment of eHealth, is a term used for the practice of medicine and public health supported by mobile devices. The main goal of the congress is to provide a platform for exchanging ideas, concepts, techniques, experiments and applications in using mobile communication devices, such as mobile phones, tablet computers and handheld PCs, for health services and information. The 2017 congress mainly focuses on the delivery of healthcare services via mobile communication and multimedia technologies, the congress website (mhealth.sums.ac.ir) reported. The scope of the congress includes, but is not limited to, standards and guidelines in patient - centered services in mhealth, health promotion via mhealth, investment and marketing strategies and mhealth challenges.
