SDGs Promoted at Tehran Metro

Banners promoting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been displayed at Tehran Metro stations to raise awareness on the SDGs among the four million passengers who take the subway daily. The banners are set up under the “Together for SDGs” public awareness campaign, launched in September by the United Nations, according to the UN Information Center (UNIC). It was initiated by Iranian celebrities and well-known figures who also introduce SDGs in their video messages on social networks, IRNA reported. The project is executed jointly by UNIC Tehran Office and the Tehran Metro, with the cooperation of Reza Shakeri, deputy roads minister and managing director of Iran Railroad Engineering.
