A total of 310 authorized food and drug testing laboratories are operating across the country under the auspices of the Food and Drug Administration. The laboratories will be connected to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) by the end of November 20, said Dr Kolsum Kheirollahi, a senior official at the Center for Evaluating Partner Laboratories at the Health Ministry. “LIMS is a software-based management system with features that support a modern laboratory’s operations,” IRNA reported.
