The 11th International Congress of endocrine and metabolic diseases will be held November 2-4 at the International Conference Center of Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, said Dr Mohammad Hashemi, congress executive secretary. Stating that thyroid problems and diabetes are the most common endocrine diseases, he said the confab would cover topics including the latest methods to control thyroid and diabetes, adrenal disorder treatment methods, and osteoporosis prevention, IRNA reported. On the sidelines, separate workshops will be held for nurses on nursing care to patients with endocrine conditions.
