Isfahan police rank first among the nation’s police departments, says General Esmail Ahmadi Moghaddam. He said the province has seen a 2% drop in theft, a 4% increase in their ability to track crime and a 4% decrease in the number of fatal road accidents. Iran’s police chief who was on a visit to Isfahan Province also said “there is a 4% drop in thefts in the country compared to the same period last year” and hoped there would be further reduction in theft rates with the measures taken.
