A 29-year-old man, who was sentenced for the unintentional murder of his nephew, was released after eight years in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj, Alborz Province with the help of a philanthropist who paid the blood money of $57 million (2 billion rials) to the victim’s family. The philanthropist came to know that a girl had married the youth while he was in jail and decided to help the young couple, Tabnak News Agency reported. The murder occurred eight years ago when the youth intervened in a fight between two members of his family, inadvertently causing the death of his nephew.
