The spokesman for Tehran’s department of education announced details for the distribution of milk in schools. Masoud Saghafi told ISNA “each student will get 70 packets of 250ml of milk during the school year.” He said the distribution will commence from November 22. Saghafi said the required funding for the plan is $11.6 million, part of which has already been provided. He added that the distributing company will be selected by tender and would be announced soon. All primary and junior high schools as well as pre-schools and orphanages are included in the milk distribution program.
