Nearly 900 ICU beds and 500 VIP delivery beds will be provided to hospitals in the country by the end of the current fiscal year in March 2017, said the deputy health minister for treatment on Sunday. “The 19-bed pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) of the hospital provides children with the highest level of medical care including intensive care and continuous monitoring of heartbeat rate, breathing, and blood pressure,” IRNA quoted Mohammad Aqajani as saying on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the largest PICU in Mofid Hospital in Tehran.
