Seven more air emergency stations will be built across the country by the end of the current Iranian year, said Deputy Health Minister Dr. Mohammad Aqajani. “The projects have already started and will be completed by March 2017,” he said, ISNA reported. There were no air emergency stations in the country before the Health Reform Plan was launched in 2014 under the administration of President Hassan Rouhani. Since then, a total of 21 air emergency stations have been inaugurated and have helped to transport over 4,000 patients and injured people to medical centers and hospitals through 2,600 flights.
