The recent storm and flooding in the three provinces of Mazandaran, Golestan and Semnan has caused $7 million in damage to properties, agriculture, and urban facilities, said Amol Governor Ahmad Monfared, on Sunday. “Qaemshahr and Amol cities in Mazandaran Province were the most damaged,” IRNA quoted him as saying. On Friday morning, flash floods following torrential rains affected five provinces of Mazandaran, Golestan, Semnan, Ardebil and East Azarbaijan.
