A memorandum of understanding was signed between Health Minister Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi and Finland’s Minister of Family Affairs and Social Services, Juha Rehula during a meeting on Tuesday evening at the Finnish capital Helsinki. The MoU entails cooperation in areas such as health, medicine, pharmaceuticals, research, and academic projects, Health Ministry’s news agency ‘WEBDA’ reported.
According to Mehr News Agency, Hashemi arrived in the Finnish capital Helsinki at the head of a large delegation to expand bilateral ties with Finland.
Hashemi also paid a visit to academic and treatment centers in Helsinki and met with heads of various research institutes to sign memoranda of understanding.
He was also scheduled to visit Finland’s National Institute for Health and Welfare, Helsinki University Hospotial (HUH), as well as Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
