The final draft of the document to provide social support to women compiled by the Ministry of Labor, Cooperatives and Social Welfare, is now ready, said the ministry’s advisor in women and family affairs.
“The draft has been presented to the Vice Presidency for Women and Family Affairs to be reviewed,” said Vahideh Negin, as reported by the ministry’s online portal.
The document will help identify social inequities and the ensuing social harm on women on an annual basis so that the Vice Presidency can lay down policies and plans to address them.
A database of information on women under various support packages will be prepared for better provision of services by pertinent organizations.
