The Second International and 14th National Nutrition Congress will be held September 4-7 in Tehran at the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry. “The role of nutrition science and technology in general health, food security and control of non-communicable diseases, are among the topics for discussion at the congress,” said Giti Sotoudeh, its executive secretary. The event will host 24 foreign delegates from the US, Canada, England, Austria, Finland, Malaysia, India, and Japan, IRNA reported. Symposiums and roundtables will be held on the periphery for experts to share views and discuss the latest advancement in the field. The theme of the confab is: Towards a brighter future for nutrition, from policy making to execution.
