Chinese healthcare workers arrived in Liberia on Saturday to begin treating those infected with the Ebola virus. The team of medical professionals will be setting up shop in a new $41 million clinic designed specifically to treat the outbreak.
The clinic will only be staffed and operated by Chinese personnel, so no other international workers will be allowed to provide treatment there. The setup is totally different from other clinics in Liberia, which are mostly run by Liberian workers under the direction of foreign doctors and nurses.
