Shy of Social Media

More than half of Iranians are not members of any social networks, a new survey has found. According to a review by the Iranian Students Polling Agency (affiliated to the Iranian Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research), over 52% of Iranians were not members of any social platform, while 46.8% were active on at least one online social media, among whom 62.7% were married. The survey polled a sample community of 4,400 over 18-year-old people across the 31 provinces. A comparative study between genders also revealed that men comprised the majority (50.8%) of the people on social networks, ISNA reported.
