The Data Center of the Food and Drug Administration was inaugurated on Sunday in the presence of its head and Deputy Health Minister Rasoul Dinarvand, representatives from the Healthy Ministry, and the Iran University of Medical Sciences. “Consolidating and developing infrastructure and systems to provide facts and figures and ensure quality services to the people are among the reasons why this center was set up,” said Dinarvand on the sidelines of the opening ceremony, the FDA website reported. Providing clear information on foods and drugs supplied in the market, and creating a platform for public inquiry regarding the food items and pharmaceuticals, are also functions of the data center.
