Thousands of migratory birds landed on Zayandehrud River a week after water started to flow into the river. The migratory birds include black-headed gulls and other varieties of water birds such as Herons, IRNA quoted Maryam Omidi, an official at the Isfahan Department of Environment (DoE) as saying. The country’s annual bird census is conducted in January. According to the latest census, more than 10,000 birds of 33 species migrated to 21 water sites in the province last year.
