A database of information on nearly 24 million children in the country has been formed at the National Convention on the Rights of the Child, said Mozaffar Alvandi, secretary of the CRC. “The database currently contains complete information on the educational status of children (under 18 years) who comprise around 24 million of the country’s population,” he said on Monday, IRNA reported. Other areas of the database such as supportive measures, children with disabilities, children without guardians or with negligent parents are also in progress and will be completed soon, he noted.
