Iranian and British researchers in the health sector at a meeting in Sidney Sussex College at the University of Cambridge on July 18-21 will review the global health status and discuss ways to combat the challenges.
Researchers from the universities of London, Edinburgh, Nottingham, and Oxford in the UK as well as from medical science universities of Tehran, Tabriz, Isfahan and Kerman will pool minds with the World Health Organization, IRNA reported.
The participants will discuss issues such as disease control strategies, ways to reduce the burden of chronic diseases, disease epidemiology, medical ethics, and human and financial resources.
Researchers will also assess the state of homeless people across the world and the deterioration of health conditions in certain parts of South Asia.
