The names of 36 Iranian medical scientists have been included in the 2016 Essential Science Indicators (ESI) list. Iran’s scientific productions over a 10 year period stand at 27,529 indexed articles, placing the country 40th in the world ranking as well, reported IRNA. Iranian scientists rank among the most quoted medical scientists in 2016.
