In a bid to cooperate and exchange knowhow with foreign researchers, the Iranian High-Tech Laboratory Network will develop the country’s network by linking up with laboratories in Germany and South Korea, said the network’s director, Reza Asadifard. “The national network seeks to establish scientific and research links with developed countries in order to stay abreast of the latest advancements in lab technologies worldwide,” he told Mehr News Agency.

Asadifard said this cooperation will be in the form of a trilateral research center. Initial discussions have taken place, and the project is currently undergoing feasibility studies. The Iranian network is a series of laboratories active in the field of strategic technologies, and operates under the direct supervision of the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology.
