Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and Italian University of Genoa have signed a memorandum of understanding on joint scientific cooperation.
The MoU was signed by Hamed Kamelnia, assistant professor at Ferdowsi University, and Vittorio Pizzigoni, an architect, researcher, and instructor of architectural design at the Italian university. The areas of focus are exchange of professors and students, holding joint courses and workshops, conducting joint research projects and conferences and congresses in the fields of architecture, urban planning and restoration, Mehr News Agency reported. The University of Genoa is one of the largest universities in Italy. It ranks high among the European universities in fields of computer science.
