The first online training and counseling center on drugs and addiction prevention has been launched, said Mohammadreza Azarnia, secretary general of the coordination council at the Iran Drug Control Headquarters.
“Preventing and eliminating substance abuse needs cultivating an anti-drug culture, and launching the online center is a good step in that direction, “he said at an IDCH session on Sunday, IRNA reported.
According to a survey, a majority of Iranians say drug addiction is one of their most important concerns, he said, noting that fighting the bane demands community effort and “it cannot be left to the government alone to handle the problem.”
