An acupuncture specialist said the Chinese alternative medicine is effective in treating several health problems. In an interview with ISNA Dr. Farhad Sabri said acupuncture can be instrumental in treating infertility, menstrual pain, irregular periods and ovarian disorders. He also said acupuncture can prevent AIDS and Hepatitis. It can also be helpful in treating lung diseases, as well as mild headaches, migraines and sinusitis. He explained that the treatment procedure includes three stages with each taking ten sessions to complete. He said a patient must go through all the stages for full recovery.
