A total of 200 classrooms in 17 educational districts of Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari Province will be digitized by the end of the current Iranian year in March 2017. “So far, we have digitized 800 classrooms in the province out of the total 9,522,” said Behrouz Omidi, director general of the provincial Department of Education, Borna News Agency reported. More than 50 million rials ($1,500) is needed to digitize each classroom. Omidi says faster progress would require more funds, especially from patrons. Over 180,000 students are currently studying in schools across the western province.
