A Tehran municipality official announced discounted metro cards for students in about two weeks. Jaffar Tashakkori Hashemi told ISNA that students would get cards at half price and they are awaiting data from the ministries of education and science to process them. He said a website is being designed to register data related to students. The cards will be valid for one year.
