There were 3.47 members on an average per family in Iranian households last calendar year (ended March 20), the Central Bank of Iran reported.
According to the central bank data, distribution of households in terms of the number of members is as follows: one-member household 6%, two-members 18%, three-members 27.4%, four-members 29.8%, five members 12.3%, six members 4% and seven members 1.6%.
