The recent rainfall has been very satisfactory, but this week there will be no precipitation; therefore “we will face air pollution and temperature inversion,” said Majid Azadi, head of Tehran’s Atmospheric Science and Meteorological Research Center (ASMRC).
On November 12 inversion phenomenon will occur in the early morning hours, IRNA reported.
On November 13 and 14, the temperature will decrease rapidly to -1 centigrade. The lower temperature and more emissions from vehicular traffic will intensify the inversion phenomenon.
